This course covers everything from the basics, such as how to hold the tools, to advanced engraving techniques that can be applied to actual jewelry making.

You will be able to acquire the skills steadily.

Some of the students have grown to the point where they are entrusted with creating pieces for famous high jewelry companies.

You can learn skills that are directly applicable to practical work.

Even if you've never had a tattoo before, you're more than welcome.

Examples of carving techniques you can learn from

4-point fastening

Four small claws are carved around the stone to secure it.

This is a simple yet beautiful stone setting technique.

Chocolate plate holder

The result is a finish that makes it look as if a jewel is gently sitting in a round window.

Even though it's simple, it looks incredibly cute and elegant.

Lemon holder

The lemon setting involves carving a lemon shape around the stone.

This charming stone setting makes the gemstone appear to float like a small fruit.

Halo setting

By securing the edges radially,

The stone setting shines with a magnificent brilliance, like the sparkle of stars.

Consecutive stubs

The small stone settings are carved in a row at equal intervals,

This is a gorgeous stone setting that makes the diamonds appear to flow in a straight line.

Applied pendant

曲線に沿って細かな石を並べ、縁には丁寧なミル打ちを効かせた、まさに

“彫留めの応用”が詰まったペンダント。

self-introduction

まだバブル期前の21歳から27歳まで、彫金の会社に勤めていました。
当時は日本の景気が良く、学びながらお給料を頂けるくらいに、企業には力がありました。

31歳でイタリアに行き、ヴィノ・ヴィーニ先生に、打ち出し、作り、石留を学びました。
フィレンツェから、カッラーラまで通いました。その時の打ち出しが、蔦の葉です。

32歳で帰国し、石川暢子さんの元で3年修行し、独立して今に至ります。
彫留は楽しくて面白く、作品が美しく変化していき、バフを掛けた時の輝きはいつも感動します。

手掛けた作品は、ヴァンドーム広場迄は見に行けませんが、銀座で展示されているのを見ると

嬉しくなります。

ノンヒートの美しい宝石達、ダイヤメレ一つでも最高のカットを手掛ける毎日を

辛いと思った事はないです。

生徒さんは、それぞれ進みがちがいますし、手掛ける作品によって留めや彫りはテクニックが変わるのでテキストはありません。

私の所からは、ハイジュエリーを手掛ける生徒さん、お教室を開いた生徒さんが育ちました。

生徒さん皆さんが頑張って、私のこれ迄の技術を継いで頂き、楽しい毎日になるのが私の願いです。

そして私自身は、まだまだ綺麗に美しく留めるように研鑽しています。
